The Department of Surgery Grants & Contracts (SGC) team has an exciting entry level opportunity with room for growth. We are seeking a Grants & Contracts Professional 1 or 2 (depending on experience) to support busy clinical and research faculty by managing an independent portfolio of proposal. The SGC team is committed to promoting a collaborative work environment and encourages the continuous development of its staff and resources. This hybrid position will primarily work independently with day-to-day activities; and report to the Pre-award Grants and Contracts Professional 3. During the 6-month probationary period, the successful candidate will be expected to follow a hybrid work schedule. Following the probationary period the candidate will have the option to be mostly remote with the exception of required trainings, team events, and other on-site work activities. The successful candidate will receive training and be part of a collaborative team who helps facilitate proposal submission up to the point an award is made. This position reports to the Pre-award Grants and Contracts Professional 3. Pay Range: ~$52,000 - $75,000; depending on education/qualifications/experience and role.
