Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, analyze, and maintain the Oracle E-Business Suite Applications Integrations within the application in support of the business function. Partner with customers, functional business analysts and other team members in driving appropriate design and implementation of technical solutions to meet desired business requirements. Research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production lifecycle in accordance with the business goals and organizational architectural standards. Evaluate requirements from functional specifications and create efficient technical integration designs. Analyze, evaluate and support impact of Oracle release upgrades in existing integrations. Adhere to and support the use of IS standards for code development and code promotion. Analyze and assess existing procedures to allow the application to respond to business changes. Create process flows, high level functional and detailed technical design specifications from business requirements. Assist with testing and deployment of Release Update Pack and other module upgrades to keep application release level current. This position requires 25% domestic and 25% international travel. Role is hybrid within a reasonable commuting distance of the Cleveland, OH worksite location. Multiple openings available.

Requirements Education

Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field of study and five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Consultant, Technical Architect, Software Engineering Team Lead, Oracle Developer or related role where required experience gained.

Skills



  • Five (5) years IT experience;
  • Five (5) years progressively responsible for building applications and system integrations;
  • Enterprise Service Bus (such as IBM, Oracle) or iPaaS platform;
  • Integrating with one or more ERP systems (Oracle E-Business, SAP or other);
  • Building, configuring, deploying and web services;
  • SoapUI or similar web service testing tools;
  • SOA principles, design patterns, application integration architectures;
  • Ability to define and maintain a common interface schema; and
  • Version control and software configuration management & deployment tools including Subversion, Git, GitHub, Jenkins, HP Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) or other tools.
