PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Responsible for providing business direction to Retail Divisions in order to maximize their local income.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Develops and implements centralized accounting processes and procedures at Retail Divisions.

Serves as a liaison between Retail Division staff and Centralized Accounting.

Provides leadership to Retail Divisions in the development of annual budgets and year end estimates.

Provides leadership to Retail Divisions in assessing the internal rate of return on capital projects.

Provides leadership to Retail Divisions in maximizing the benefits of the IMS supported software based on a thorough understanding of the software's capability.

Provides leadership to Retail Divisions in the training and communication of Contribution To Overhead to their retail locations.

Monitors Retail Division financial performance to identify business operation changes to improve financial performance.

Develops financial metrics to enhance the operating efficiency of Retail Divisions.

Provides leadership to Retail Divisions in communication and presentation of financial information to their Operating Board of Directors.

Provides leadership to special studies relating to acquisitions, mergers, consolidations, financing alternatives, facility planning and follow up on implementation of plans in these areas.

Consults with Retail Divisions in assessing their short and long-term objectives to assist in developing strategic plans to achieve their goals.

Assists Centralized Accounting in monthly general ledger reconciliations, margin analysis and expense analysis of Retail Divisions.

Provides support to Retail Divisions in administration of marketing plans.

Coordinates meetings to provide GROWMARK information and updates to Retail Division staff.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting and 6 years or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of business and financial leadership.

Prefer CPA and GROWMARK System leadership or financial experience.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Must have the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
