Description

The New Account Doc Prep Specialist is responsible for preparing the proper documentation and maintenance for all types of checking, savings, and time deposits accounts, including commercial, small business, personal, IRA's, trusts and health savings accounts. Reviews legal and entity documents to ensure proper documentation is compliant with regulatory requirements and internal BSA requirements. Reviews and updates exception report daily to insure regulatory requirements are met and updated. Will assist in the electronic signature process through ProSign. Will assist the department with the online account opening process and work with BSA to approve accounts.

Essential Duties



  1. Prepares account documents and supporting documentation for all types of checking, savings, and time deposits including commercial, small business, trusts, estates, personal, IRA's and health savings accounts.
  2. Reviewing legal and entity documents to ensure proper preparation is compliant with regulatory requirements, and internal BSA requirements.
  3. Handles and reviews online applications through Blend online system.
  4. Processes electronic signature cards through ProSign.
  5. Updates exception report daily and prepares daily control sheet with previous days accounts and maintenances.
  6. Reviews all new accounts and maintenances for proper documentation or updates to account and places and/or removes exceptions as needed.
  7. Answering questions, resolving problems, and responding to requests for documents promptly and courteously.
  8. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are required.
  9. Maintaining work area in a clean, neat and professional manner.
  10. Representing the bank in a professional manner.
  11. Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  12. Participating in training sessions as required by supervisor.
