Lab Technician (Process & Analytical Development)
100% Onsite in Lexington, MA
6 month contract with strong perm potential
Hourly Pay: $25 - $30HR (depending on experience)

***The successful candidate will have 1 - 2 years of relevant industry/lab experience in R&D, Product Development or Operations, and experience with aseptic techniques, cell cultures, and molecular biology in a BSL 2/2.5 environment.

Other Experience & Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced laboratory techniques related to viral vector production
    and analytics.
  • Basic laboratory techniques include preparing solutions, media, molecular biology techniques, aseptic cell culture techniques and general laboratory maintenance.
  • Perform hands on laboratory procedures related to viral vector production and characterization, specifically cell culture maintenance activities such as cell culture initiation, subculturing, media prep, and cell counting
  • Sample management
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of processing activities, including quality control of written and electronic data
  • Handle and track inventory
  • Perform routine lab maintenance and maintenance of laboratory equipment
  • Comply with all established policies and SOPs
  • Participate actively in SOP revisions in coordination with supervisor and Quality Assurance


EDUCATION:

Associate or BS degree required in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or similar field

Estimated Min Rate: $25.00
Estimated Max Rate: $30.00
