eCommerce Events Project Manager

Rate:$40.00 - $50.00/hr

Main notes:

* Manage 4 online events on the site - there's 4 events per year (one each Quarter; i.e. week-long events). Purpose of events is to bring a crossline business into a storytelling type of event i.e. "discover" Company page selling the connectivity story that connects phones, TVs, Appliances, etc.
* 4 years' experience
* Program and project management focused experience (rather than actual product management) - managing inputs and projects as a whole
* Confluence or Jira is a must have - these are the PM tools they use - creating tickets, track tickets through the platforms
* This job will support "discover" events - project manage, D2D operations and liaison - plan, execute and analyze these events
* Each event is 8 to 10 weeks of planning and then a 2 week postmortem work (week or two between next event)
* Manage marketplace and platforms
* Liaison independently with functional teams of the business (i.e. monitor teams, running program for the event week), things in place approvals ready to go, etc.
* Interface with 5 to 10 functional teams - onsite merch teams, pricing teams, corporate marketing team, etc.
* Roll sleeves, project manage this, self-starter, detail oriented
* If issues, take it upon themselves sot figure out a solution without having to rely on the manage for everything
* Smartsheets experience is nice to have
* Crossline business aspect knowledge/process
Responsibilities:

* Work with the Company's global teams and Product and Engineering Teams to deliver strategic programs.
* Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.
* Create program plan, manage schedules, and own end to end program delivery with a focus on high quality and on time delivery.
* Meticulously plan and conduct workshops with large group of audience
* Define program deliverables and drive accountability through tracking and follow up on action items to closure.
* Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached.
* Produce program reports for stakeholders.
* Identify and mitigate program risks early, promoting a smoother path to success and reducing potential disruptions.
* Conduct scrum of scrums and steering committee meetings to bring alignment.
* Provide uniform stakeholder experience through consistent communication, transparency regarding program status, resource requirements, priorities, risks, and issues.
