Overview Manage the site's records programs, which includes managing all unclassified and classified records activities: setting program direction and establishing company policies and procedures: providing liaison and support to DOE-SR, DOE-HQ and national initiatives (e.g. epidemiological studies, dose reconstruction): Introducing process and technology enhancements providing primary accountability to national agencies: ensuring program compliance with federal laws and regulations relative to Records and Information Management. Responsibilities
Exclusive responsibility for managing the site's collection (approximately 65,000 cubic feet of classified and unclassified records material) including ensuring processing, access and timely retrievability of information.
Qualifications EDUCATION: A business or technical degree, 8 to 10 years management experience in records management/ document control or related information management discipline. In lieu of a degree, a High School Diploma, and a minimum of 15 years' experience in management related field of Records Management/Document Control or related information management discipline. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A 40-hour work week is scheduled. SRNS utilizes various work schedules including 5/8s (8 hour/day; five days per week), 4/10's (10 hours/day; four days per week), and 9/80's (9 hours/day, five days on week AA and four days on week BB. Work week excludes SRNS holidays. Each workday has 30-minute lunch. Overtime will be expected at times to meet deliverables and will be utilized at the discretion of the Manager. AREA SECURITY ACCESS: Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a "Q" level security clearance. Clearance is not initially required to complete assigned duties and procurement will be notified when to proceed with clearance processing.
