Purpose Function as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant under the medical direction of an adult anesthesiologist. Position Summary The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to join its Adult Anesthesiology Division. At Froedtert Sargent Health Center, the practice of anesthesiology encompasses a medically directed team approach involving faculty anesthesiologists, anesthesiology fellows, residents and advanced practice certified nurse anesthetists and CAAs. The successful candidate must possess the ability to provide high quality anesthesia care to a complex patient population, working directly under the supervision of our Adult Anesthesiologists and as part of a team of highly trained and dedicated team of CAAs and certified nurse anesthetists. Risk Potential: Exposure to hazards that may result in short-term work-related absences. Exposure to blood-borne pathogens and hazardous materials. May include exposure to conditions requiring the use of personal protective equipment.
