DESCRIPTION

Dunwoody College of Technology is currently seeking an Adjunct Instructor in the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences Department. Successful candidates will have a high level of applied technical competency paired with professional experience relevant to the course, as well as a desire to reinforce the mission and vision of the Program.

Potential Available Courses:

SSCI1000 | Psychology of Human Behavior | Lecture (3 Credits)

The course begins with the foundational concepts of psychology (cognitive, behavioral, and health) and underscores the importance of having an ethical framework from which to make behavioral choices. We'll identify the factors, behaviors, and personal traits that influence behavior and examine the personal, social, and professional contexts in which we solve problems and make decisions.

  • Develops and upgrades lesson material, training aids and maintains equipment within assigned course of instruction.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A master's degree in the subject in which they are teaching; OR
  • Any master's degree and 18 graduate credits in the content area in which they are teaching
