40 hour regular work week. Additional hours required as needed. Extensive travel required.
Exempt/salaried position.
Basic Function
Market Denison's academic experience to students and their parents through personal visits, presentations, and telephone and email communication. Recruit, evaluate, and enroll students according to the goals set forth by the Office of Admission. Participate in on and off campus recruitment activities and programs. This position is full-time, based physically on the Denison University campus.
Essential Job Functions
Manage an admission market by planning and executing a travel schedule that supports the strategic recruitment goals of the University. Travel extensively to assigned recruitment markets, participate in recruitment events, develop and execute strategies to engage prospective student audiences. Conduct admission interviews, evaluate applications for admission and make decision recommendations on matters related to admission. Use data and professional judgment to craft a class of students that is academically talented and broadly diverse.

Develop and maintain productive relationships with college counselors to help support student recruitment and retention. Work with alumni, families, and friends of Denison to help increase institutional visibility.

Represent the University in a professional manner. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.

Two years of experience working in college admission, or equivalent experience in a related field.
Ability to use the latest technology in recruitment and enrollment planning, including experience with an admission CRM.

Demonstrated strong presentation, listening, written, and verbal communication skills.

Clear understanding and ability to communicate the values and mission of a residential, liberal arts college.
Must have a current, valid driver's license and must be insurable under Denison's liability insurance policy.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience working with the Technolutions Slate CRM.
Physical Demands
Comfortable in an office setting, operating general office equipment, including lifting boxes up to 20 pounds.
