Role Overview:
The Sr. Administrator is a critical role and acts as confidante and support for North American-based Executive Leadership Team (ELT) as the business continues to grow globally.

What you will do:

  • Interacts in a highly professional manner with senior executives internally and externally, representing the ELT effectively as an extension of his/her own personal brand
  • Excellent ability to build and maintain relationships across the Events business, as well as the company, to ensure collaboration on key initiatives
  • Plan, execute, and participate in internal meetings and other activities that improve the operational running of the business and move it forward
  • Manages calendars and expense reports for MVPs and VPs of Community
  • Maintains shared drive, organizational charts and business alerts
  • Takes the lead in building and updating PowerPoint decks for weekly Global Community, bi-weekly Global Community Leadership and monthly All Hands meetings
  • Serves as main point of contact for new hire onboarding and training
  • Manages travel request process for Sales team
  • Performs diversified administrative tasks and special assignments in support of the MVP Global Communities and the senior leadership team
  • Executes full calendar management for MVPs and VPs
  • Takes the lead in planning annual Kickoff and execution
  • Coordinates detailed domestic and international travel arrangements, as well as meeting and event planning for ELT activities
  • Works autonomously to manage projects and maintain communication with key stakeholders
  • Recommends & modifies processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness; adjusts approaches when common issues arise
  • Demonstrates decision-making ability within scope of responsibilities and identifies problems within process flow (i.e. meeting agendas, participants, etc)
  • Administrative duties include: processing of regular cash and credit card expenses, taking meeting minutes, conference and video call scheduling, inbound call routing, communication drafting, spreadsheet/PowerPoint creations, etc
  • Understands the administrative role and is comfortable providing support, mentoring, and guidance to colleagues
  • Coordinates team social events, managing all logistical requirements and ensuring effective communication
  • Run point on managing Portland office, which includes submitting requests for additional kitchen and office supplies and serving as the main point of contact for the corporate facilities team and building management
  • All other duties as assigned by the MVP Global Communities

What you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative/project management capacity
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, advanced degree a plus
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment at all times
  • Excellent communications skills (written and oral)
  • Must have an excellent work ethic
  • Must have worked in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Maintains a high sense of urgency
  • Must be highly organized with proven time management skills
  • Must have a high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload effectively
  • Must be personable and possess a flexible and adaptable working style
  • Demonstrate high levels of intellectual curiosity and active listening capabilities
  • Advanced problem solving, organizational and analytical skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 43,000 USD - 60,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
