Job Purpose: The ESG Analyst will support a customer-facing team in the design, implementation, and management of the company's sustainability program. He/she promotes and explains the organization's sustainability philosophy to internal and external audiences. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility and capacity to work on a wide variety of projects and the demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional teams. Candidates should be passionate about sustainability and climate resilience, self-motivated and self-directed, collaborative, and able to produce high-quality work products. Success will be determined by meeting or exceeding company ESG Goals.



Responsibilities

    Compile FXI's annual GHG inventory using Persefoni (or similar carbon accounting platforms), ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Lead the preparation of reports, including CDP, EcoVadis, customer questionnaires, and an annual ESG Report, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and ESG frameworks.
  • Developing and maintaining company-wide inventories and product life cycle assessment for energy, GHG, water, waste, and other resources.
  • Designing sustainability or climate risk management performance targets and accompanying strategies and achievement plans.
  • Identifying and evaluating opportunities to achieve energy, GHG, and resource reductions.
  • Analyzing energy efficiency and renewable energy options.
  • Conducting risk and opportunity assessments.
  • Coordinating and managing sustainability programs and initiatives.
  • Supporting business development activities with existing and prospective customers.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability or a related discipline
  • 2 - 4 years of related experience in sustainability, energy, climate change, and/or management consulting
  • Project Management experience & ability to manage deadlines
  • Familiarity with sustainability issues and frameworks such as CDP, SBTi, GRI, TCFD, and GHG Protocol
  • Ability to travel to various plants across the U.S. up to 10%
