Job Description:

The Maintenance Supervisor holds a responsibility for facility upkeep and maintain production equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. Supports all Maintenance tasks related to preventive maintenance. Supports facility work-orders initiated by Maintenance Management, Project Engineering, or other departments. May include oversight of Janitorial staffing along with related duties. Essential responsibilities include:

  1. Must be able to work independently and complete work orders in a professional and timely manner.
  2. Must have an excellent understanding of facility maintenance functions.
  3. Must be able to work well with others and communicate potential problems when conflicts exist.
  4. Must be able provide leadership during critical repair situations and direct people in a proficient and safe manner.
  5. Read and understand construction and machine blue prints, including machine drawings, building construction floor plans, P&ID diagrams, and electrical drawings.
  6. Individuals must have an understanding of DC, AC circuits and measuring techniques. Also provide troubleshooting methods and baseline rational of what procedures to follow and document described situations.
  7. Responsible for understanding the proper use of engineering and maintenance documentation, which is required under cGMPs. Examples include the Maintenance Work Order System, the Critical Change Request System, SOP documentation, Validation documentation, etc.
  8. Supervise Maintenance technicians

Qualifications:

  • Associates of Science degree and/or Vocational training in related maintenance field required.
  • Must have minimum of 5 years' maintenance/repair experience.
  • Lead experience is required and supervisory experience desired.
  • Working maintenance knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is beneficial.
  • FDA or other Federally Regulated Industry experience is preferred.
  • Prior electrical, plumbing and construction experience is required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity is required.
  • Must be able to read and understand construction and machine blue prints.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 60 lbs. unassisted, must be able to work in aseptic areas and confined spaces. Exposure to allergens. Job work will require the Technician to move throughout the facility on an as needed basis.

Shift: Weekend Nights, Friday - Sunday & Every Other Thursday 6pm - 6am

Compensation & Benefits:

This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.

  • Hiring Wage: $77,968 - $120,000 annually depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. See full list of benefits below for our complete compensation package.
