Job Description: Billing and Collections Specialist Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Billing and Collections for a great company Vaco is working with! Specialist with 1-3 years of experience. This role is critical to ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities: Billing: Generate and issue accurate invoices to clients/customers. Ensure compliance with company policies and contract terms. Address and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner. Collections: Monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely payments. Follow up with clients on overdue accounts via phone, email, and written correspondence. Negotiate payment arrangements and document all collection efforts. Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all billing and collection activities. Prepare periodic reports on account statuses, overdue payments, and collection metrics. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for billing inquiries. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure proper account management. Qualifications: Experience: 1-3 years of experience in billing, collections, or a related role Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, LOOKUPS). Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
