Specialist, Strategic Sourcing

Location: Remote based in the United States

The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will support all aspects of application of Jones Lang LaSalle's Strategic Sourcing methodology. The Sourcing Specialist will be familiar with concepts and procedures relating to strategic procurement and contracts management and will source assigned commodities in the RFP process and prepare reports, analysis on supplier/client spend and associated savings.
Knowledge of Federal Procurement Policy and/or Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) for both facility services and/or construction is critical to the successful candidate.

This role is a high transaction volume with very short RFP cycle times.
Provide specialized contracting and sourcing of third-party services for facilities management operations.
Familiar with concepts and procedures relating to procurement and contracts management to include government and public entities and with the need to have knowledge of Federal Procurement Policy and/or Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
Responsibilities will include maintaining contracts and vendor database, researching new suppliers, interviewing and negotiating to obtain prices and specifications.
Assist during Request For Proposal (RFP) by researching information on vendors, current contracts, pricing, baseline spending and other relevant information
Coordinate the preparation of RFP package, release to vendors, collection and summarization of proposal data applications as needed.
Work with Contracts Administrator to ensure all contracting and procurement standards are maintained throughout the portfolio to JLL and/or client requirements.
Collect, analyze and prepare reports to measure client satisfaction based upon Service Level Agreements and KPIs.
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on contracts, spend and savings.
Create and run ethical small RFP's and analyze price proposals, financial reports and other data to determine the reasonability of price and contractor capabilities.
Experience negotiating with a supplier different scope of service and pricing.
Conduct regular market and spend analysis programs to drive cost savings and supplier improvements.
Maintain JLL Aravo tool to ensure compliance with JLL and client Sourcing requirements, to include any and all necessary contract documentation requirements along with Certificate of Insurances (COI).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict timelines and establishing work priorities to achieve goals on time.
Proactively managing internal and external customer expectations and delivering High level communications.
Develop new programs (innovation) and/or processes that will benefit the Client and JLL

KEY COMPETENCIES
3-7 years of experience in a professional, fast paced environment.
Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel and Access
Knowledge of SpendHQ and Corrigo are a plus

Strong organizational and analytical skills; problem solving ability
Self-starter and team player
Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service
Communicate professionally in a clear and concise manner (verbal and written)
