SUMMARY

Deliver training information to upcoming new starts. Ensure accountability, transparency, and effective communication cross-functionally and within team while ensuring information is timely, clear, and accurate. Train team to a high performance; foster a team ownership culture that ensures compliance with all Corporate and Local policies, procedures, and regulations. Supply the highest level must measure and communicate the team's progress against individual, team, and site goals. The trainer will perform all other job duties on an as needed basis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Schedule dye lots based delivery dates/order of importance, etc.
• Serve as mediator with Spanish speakers.
• Train Spanish associates on perspective department.
• Instruct associates on output, quality and processes providing for growth and development.
• Address employee relation issues as necessary.
• Assist in issue resolution cases.
• Administrate necessary paperwork on shift, machine reports, overtime, vacations, etc.
• Maintain clean work environment in departmental area in accordance with 5S standards.
• Foster an environment focused on Continuous Improvement.
• Performs additional duties as requested, needed, or assigned.

ABILITY TO

• Read, write, and speak and understand in English and Spanish, to interpret documents such as specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, reports, business correspondence, regulatory and procedure manuals.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers, Supervisors and Managements.
• Work independently with little or no supervision and be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram record data or schedule form.
• Physically able to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment - manual dexterity, visual acuity, and speed.
• Effectively organize, set priorities, schedule assigned work; oversee multiple and rapidly changing priorities.
• Displays ability to work in highly productive, constantly changing environment.
• Effectively execute tasks.
• Exceptional work performance and attendance record.
• Solid leadership skills; able to lead by example; decision-maker and effective communicating.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Project a strong, confident presence
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, discretion and attention to detail

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Frequent hand, finger, and wrist movement to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
