We are seeking a full time, 40- hour Medical Assistant Lead to support our practice Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. The Lead Medical Assistant is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of clinical operations. The Lead MA will supervise 10 Medical Assistants and manage tasks including patient evaluations, prescription refills, prior authorizations, specimen collection, vaccine administration, In basket messaging, telephone outreach, and incoming fax/mail processing. Required: High School diploma/GED National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT Either BLS or Annual Manikin training including CPR and AED after 6 months of hire Preferred: Medical Assistant Course or diploma program or a minimum of 3 years of professional experience 2 Years of supervisory experience, including the ability to train and mentor others.
