THE POSITION

The Office of Long-Term Living (OLTL) administers Medicaid programs that provide long-term care and services and supports for daily living in a person's home or a facility setting to older Pennsylvanians and adults with physical disabilities. If this is a mission you can get behind, we want to hear from you! OLTL is seeking a driven and well-organized Auditor 2 to join our team and examine nursing facility cost reports. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The audits you will be conducting include desk examinations of Nursing Facility cost reports. These examinations consist of financial reviews and evaluation of Long-Term Care providers from all geographic areas of the Commonwealth. Assignments are generally specific and distinctive in nature. Some other duties include, but are not limited to:
Research background and general information on the service providers and activities to be examined. Determine examination procedures to be used. Summarize and analyze documentation in order to reach a conclusion. Identify objectives and adjusts examination program as necessary for the review and testing of providers' records and procedures, in particular, expanding the scope of the examination to meet objectives, if necessary.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Auditor 1; or
- One year of auditing experience and four years of accounting and/or additional auditing work; and fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training which includes fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting and one year of auditing experience.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
