Director - Product Management - Technical Services

As a member of the Product Management team, you will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams across our business to align on roadmaps, lead planning, and provide implementation support for strategic enterprise-wide projects. You will collaborate with Enterprise and Business Unit leaders to translate strategic vision into defined product plans that enhance and expand our platform strategy, helping transform WellSky into a leading technology provider, supporting health care providers and payors across the care continuum.

You will lead the development, operation and maintenance of multiple enterprise services, such as enterprise identity management or integration services between WellSky solutions and state visit verification partners. In each case you have ownership of the enterprise service as well as the adoption of the service across multiple WellSky products in various business units.

A day in the life!

  • Drive strategic direction of product development; ensure consistent execution of solution lifecycle processes from concept to launch within established product scope.
  • Produce a 3-year vision/strategy document for areas of responsibility and ensure business opportunities are surfaced for annual budget planning.
  • Maintain a rolling 4-quarter product roadmap and lead quarterly planning efforts to develop tactical commitments that support the strategic roadmap and can be executed with a high level of fidelity.
  • Lead a team(s), either through direct reports or a matrix model, responsible for solution delivery; mentor and provide functional and career development for Product Analysts and/or Product Managers within organizational span.
  • Maintain a high degree of collaboration and joint planning with Engineering Leadership and design team structures to support the development goals.
  • Help define go-to-market strategies across multiple market verticals for given technical services; support and partner with business unit Product Managers, Sales and Marketing to maximize penetration into targeted markets.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis, create, and justify complex business cases and make decisions regarding product rationalization.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Do you have what it takes?

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years related work experience.
  • 6-8 years progressive experience in Product Management.
  • 4-5 years people management work experience.
  • Proven experience in leading end-to-end product development.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Do you stand above the rest?

Preferred Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in the healthcare technology sector.
  • Experience with highly technical product development teams.
  • Experience with Identity Management and/or 3rd party integration development and implementation.
