The Opportunity:

You've developed so many organization-wide software architectures that you can not only orchestrate the best solution for any technical challenge, but also anticipate future concerns. That's because you're a software architect who specialized in product development and systems solutions. At Booz Allen, you can use those skills to improve the software technology supporting the public health market.

On our team, you'll translate your customer's software needs and future goals into a plan by developing and implementing effective solutions by developing long-term cloud adoption strategies, cybersecurity, and digital gateway, engineering integration, and enterprise architecture. You'll use the latest software control systems like Git, AWS CodeCommit, and LUCID to design an effective software architecture. Your technical expertise will be vital as you lead the building of Data Modernization related solutions using Agile development, Azure or AWS, and data platforms.

In this role, you'll directly impact the public health market by providing real-time solutions to software system applications. With your advanced technical expertise, mentoring, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, you'll guide a team that develops the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience in software architecture, Agile system development and design, or systems integration
  • Experience performing requirements analysis and derivation into software system-level requirements
  • Experience developing project and integration roadmaps and plans
  • Experience translating client requirements into a conceptual or solutions model and validating models in the health environment
  • Experience working in Microsoft Azure, AWS Cloud providers, and hybrid Cloud deployments
  • Knowledge of Agile software development practices, cloud-native architectures, containerization technologies, and distributed systems
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with workstream integration to achieve results across Data Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, DevSecOps, and security and privacy
  • Knowledge of architecture at varying levels, including enterprise, segment, security, and solution architectures
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
