The Senior Pharmacist will provide staffing coverage and additional oversight of the Infusion Pharmacy Service in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager. As as a subject matter expert on (USP 797), the Senior Pharmacist will ensure compliance with compounding standards and regulations, including monthly and semiannual testing as well as personnel aseptic technique evaluations. They will enroll in the DEA's Controlled Substance Ordering System (CSOS) and act as Power of Attorney for the Pharmacist in Charge, managing controlled substance inventory and ensuring regulatory adherence. The Senior Pharmacist will support the growth of the Oral Chemotherapy program by providing staffing coverage and serving as a reliable backup to the Oral Chemotherapy Program Pharmacist, ensuring continuity and excellence in patient care. Additionally, the Senior Pharmacist will work with the PGY-2 Oncology Residency Program Director to provide preceptorship to pharmacy residents, contributing to their clinical training. Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $186,855 - $218,802 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $89.49 - $104.79 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
