*100% Remote *12 Month + contract *Description* A Business Continuity Analyst is a risk management professional responsible for analyzing threats, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing strategies to safeguard critical operations. A Business Continuity Analyst conducts BIA's, develops business continuity plans, and ensure the organization's resilience to potential disruptions. They review and analyze BIA data, assess critical business functions, define the scope and impact of disaster scenarios, and design, plan, and implement an enterprise-wide business continuity plan. *Top Skills' Details**o * 3-5 years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or crisis management o Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with stakeholders at all levels o Familiarity with third-party vendor management and resilience o Knowledge of business continuity standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301) o Proficient in documenting processes and creating training materials *Deliverables and activities this person will support include:* *Develop and update Business Continuity Plans and identify dependencies and workarounds. *Reviewing current plans, identify gaps, collaborate on getting those ready for the submittal. Update policies and procedures. *Conduct business impact analyses with business stakeholders, which will be a guided facilitation. *The following are some of the key responsibilities of a Business Continuity Analyst:* *Aligning program initiatives to industry standards such as ISO 22301, DRI Professional Practices, or BCI Best Practices. *Conducting business impact analyses and identifying potential threats to the organization. *Developing and implementing business continuity plans. *Ensuring the organization's resilience to potential disruptions. *Analyzing BIA data, critical business functions and defining the scope and impact of disaster scenarios. *Designing, planning, and implementing an enterprise-wide business continuity plan. *Coordinating with other departments to ensure the business continuity plan is integrated with other organizational processes. *Providing facilitated guidance and training to plan owners/contributors and recovery team members on business continuity and disaster recovery procedures. *Conducting regular testing and updating of the business continuity plan(s) to ensure its effectiveness. *Establishing the framework for crisis management and incident response capabilities at a local and regional level. *The following are some of the key qualifications and skills required for a Business Continuity Analyst: * *Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field. CBCP or compatible certification is a plus. *At least 3 years of experience in business continuity planning and disaster recovery. *Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. *Strong presentation skills with different levels of management. *Policy and procedure development supporting the holistic Business Continuity Program. *Ability to work independently and as part of a team. *Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for business continuity and disaster recovery. *Experience in preparing various types of exercises and drills supporting the BC Program. *Experience in Crisis Management and Crisis Communications planning and documentation. *Experience with business continuity software and tools (Castellan/Riskonnect or other BCP software). *Experience working with third-party suppliers and vendors. *Experience developing/creating business continuity metrics, KPIs, and dashboards. *Experience working with data analytics tools (i.e., PowerBI, LeanIX, or others). *Experience using AI Tools (i.e., ChatGPT, Petal, Copilot, or others). *Experience using SharePoint. *Experience using the Microsoft Suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio). *Experience using Enterprise Notification Systems (ENS) tools (i.e. AlertMedia, Send Word Now, Everbridge, or others). *Skills* Business continuity, Process flow, Business continuity planning, crisis management *Additional Skills & Qualifications* oDevelop, maintain, and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans for the organization oConduct business impact analyses (BIAs) every 2 years to identify critical business functions and recovery requirements oCoordinate with third-party vendors to ensure they have appropriate service level agreements (SLAs) and understand their roles in crisis situations oProvide training and facilitate tabletop exercises to prepare employees for crisis scenarios oStay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices, such as ISO 22301 oServe as an extension of the Director of Business Continuity, representing the team when needed * Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
