What you'll be doing...

The Sales Operations Sr Manager position will be responsible for leading and managing Business Operations functions related to a distinct group of large global enterprise customers. You will be instrumental in driving the operational readiness and business imperatives to exceed objectives within the defined set of accounts. You will create, identify and implement process improvements in reporting, analytics, and performance metrics.

  • Assist the GVPs, Managing Directors and Managers to make sound and timely business decisions to drive short-term and long-term performance and improve sales performance through better processes, technology and methodologies. Ultimately, sales operations activities significantly contribute to the success of a sales organization and that organization's ability to meet/exceed business targets through the following duties.

* Create, develop and own aspects of funnel velocity and prediction model of funnel confidence.

  • Conduct detailed analysis of sales trends and performance in an effort to identify greater efficiencies.

Ensures strong adherence to established departmental budgetary parameters.

  • Share detailed reporting of actuals/forecast/funnel metrics to ensure all sales teams are aligned to Verizon's goals, objectives, and corporate values.

  • Project manage the implementation of processes, including analysis of data, to drive accurate 30-60-90 Day forecasting and management.

  • SFDC Forecast Accuracy Including funnel management. Owner of comprehensive SFDC funnel reporting tools tracking opportunities from lead generation to revenue realization, account development and retention.

  • Assist in facets of sales planning, inclusive of regular updates to headcount, programs and strategic sales plans.

  • Create, develop and implement region specific or vertical specific processes, tools, metrics and reporting.

  • Specific duties will include meeting prep (AHC/Staff), whitespace analysis, cheat sheet, OR Prep, CRB prep, forecast calls/reporting, report collection/distribution, territory mgmt. (module sizes, acct assignments, etc.), end of month cadence, comp escalation, trend reporting/analytics, revenue reporting and contract write-downs.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Experience in sales, sales operations, business development or marketing.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A Master's degree

  • Presented new and complex wireline technologies to C-Level executives.

  • Led cross-functional teams and aligned groups to a common goal.

  • Experience in Enterprise Sales, B2B Sales or Sales Operations.

  • Ability to develop and implement innovative strategies that result in the successful achievement of critical business goals and objectives.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $105,000.00 and $194,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
