Job Summary: Teach CHICLA 368 "Chicana/o and Latina/o Literatures" online at the UW-Madison main campus from 6/16/2025-7/13/2025. Duties include preparing syllabi and modules in the Canvas online course management system, preparing course materials; presenting virtual lectures as appropriate, and facilitating online discussions and other interactive learning activities. Duties also include preparing and administering assignments, grading student work, and holding virtual office hours. Responsibilities: Facilitates classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction and assists with instructional development and design for a single course or series of courses within an academic discipline to support the delivery of quality instruction. Provides for-credit instruction in formats such as classroom, online and/or laboratory settings, including grading. Preferred PhD Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to teach courses in Chicana/o/x/e and Latina/o/x/e studies and work effectively with students of varied backgrounds. Work Type: Part Time: 90% It is anticipated this position will be remote and requires work be performed at an offsite, non-campus work location. Appointment Type, Duration: Terminal, 1 month appointment.
