From your PASSION to ours

The Business Development Assistant with help the Lactalis Ingredients team to support and develop the sales of Pronativ specialty protein via the entrepreneurial initiative of launching new retail brand. Additionally, there will be a responsibility to help develop the entire ingredients portfolio.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

Sampling Program and Sales Activation Support

- Activate sales and analyze ROI within the different channels by leveraging the 3 activation pillars below

Events: Manage event planning: pre-during and post and assess ROI

o Research and reach out to Event coordinators

* Event types include trade shows, athletic events, grassroots events

o Select and coordinate Events attendance

o Leverage all relationships and communication platforms to optimize event presence

o Manage all aspects of logistics as it relates to events (i.e. booking booths, sending and returning materials, coordinating travel, etc.)

Brand Educators: Manage brand educators

o Research and reach out to Brand Educators

o Select and on-board Brand Educators, continually maintain accurate records of partnerships

o Collect and coordinate content and activations by managing brand educators

o Leverage all relationships and communication platforms to optimize their engagement

o Manage logistics of brand educator relations (i.e. sending swag, product, tracking coupon codes, etc.)

Sales Activation Support

o Create presentation and marketing materials that support any sales efforts

o Coordinate procurement and distribution of POS materials

o Support retail relationships in conjunction with team

Marketing initiatives

- Optimize communication platforms to activate sales within the different channels (grass root sales, website sales, Amazon platform):

o Digital (social media (organic and paid), website, direct email marketing, e-commerce platforms including Amazon listing and store)

o On site (sampling & activation points of sales)

o PR and relation community programs

- Competitor brand research

- Brainstorming creative problem-solving solutions

- Providing feedback and aiding in the development of brand assets

- Gather consumers feedback (ex: online survey)

- Work in tandem with internal and external partners to facilitate any marketing initiative

- Creating marketing assets

o Assisting in creation of marketing materials sales deck, created flyers and labels, digital assets (website, social media)

o Working with the graphic design team to optimize assets by providing team feedback

o Creation of PowerPoint presentations (of sample plans, social media strategy, influencer programs)

o Marketing Brief & 1st draft of creative assets; Layout and copywriting of creative assets (ie flyer, coupons)

- Responsible for understanding the full portfolio of Lactalis Ingredients and maintaining constant communication with France regarding internal and external promotion

- Responsible for updating all marketing materials for LAG Ingredients

Project Management

- Digital Writing introductory and follow up emails: introduction self, the company, the brand and the purpose

- Explaining the project/brand via email and / or in person

- Researching and reaching out to vendors- external partners, for marketing services, for packaging and marketing materials

- Execution and organization of the plan

- Team meetings: presenting & leading

- Work collaboratively with corporate partners including accounting, customer service, logistics and shipping, product development.

- Support new product development, rebranding efforts, and website maintenance

Education

* Bachelors degree in Marketing or related preferred; or equivalent experience to include a minimum of three (3) years related experience

Experience

* 1+ years Marketing experience required

* Experience in Food Industry preferred
