DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This role requires strong attention to detail, as you will be responsible for conducting thorough psychiatric evaluations and accurately diagnosing patients according to the most recent edition of the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual. Additionally, you will be responsible for prescribing appropriate treatment plans and interpreting consultations, laboratory results, and other findings. Your work will play a crucial role in providing effective and comprehensive care for all patients under your supervision.

- Full-time employment (37.5 hours per week)
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Work hours and schedule may change based on operational needs.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday on-call hours may be required.
- Overtime and travel as operationally necessary
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirement:
- Completion of a residency or training program in psychiatry which meets the certification requirements of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry.

- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
