As the Manager, Cross-Category Delivery you will be responsible for managing a cross-functional team to deliver on initiatives related to cost, sustainability, or emerging issues that span across multiple business categories. You will manage a rolling 0-to-5-year activities pipeline providing ICB with scaled solutions to cross-category required objectives. In this role you will leverage collaborative partnerships internally across ICB functions, Consumer Brands BU's and Headquarters to drive impact in our Sustainability, Cost and Emerging Issues initiatives. This role is expected to lead, develop, and maintain a highly capable, curious, and engaged team whose work is strategic in nature and includes global, multi-site, or cluster responsibility. Strong collaboration and ability to influence leaders across BU's and HQ functions is key. You will work closely with ICB RD&E and Marketing leadership to create and manage ongoing glidepath reporting and measures of progress against enterprise objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attract, develop and retain talent while fostering a performance-driven culture and delivering ICB business objectives.
  • Develop those in reporting organization through training opportunities, coaching, and performance management practices including conducting annual performance reviews, management succession, and development activities.
  • Ensure adequate project staffing with the right capability and resources (people, tools, equipment, and budget) to drive successful business results.
  • Build and provide deep technical knowledge, business context, and competitive set information to drive robust project execution decisions.
  • Collaborate with business partners to deliver aligned strategic objectives while managing cost, technical risk and consumer impact.
  • Understand consumer need and brand strategies and apply appropriately to maintain and enhance the product consumer relevance and value. Ensure project objectives and execution are aligned to those key consumer elements.
  • Execute the aligned cadence of Delivered Profit improvement and Value Add to achieve annual BU savings goals.
  • Provide leadership in the successful execution of projects related to cost savings, complexity reduction, sustainability improvements and/or consumer value within budget and aligned timing expectations.
  • Ensure technical rigor and critical thinking is applied within product development projects to manage risk and provide a high likelihood of success.
  • Ability to understand & integrate technical information into business decisions. Take prompt action to accomplish goals; proactively attempt to influence events rather than passively accept outcomes.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Sciences or Arts), or related field and at least 8 years of Consumer packaged goods work experience
  • Master's Degree in Engineering (Sciences or Arts), or related field and at least 6 years of Consumer packaged goods work experience
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) and/or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry
  • Proven ability to lead/manage across countries, functions, divisions, and management levels
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills, including strong evidence of cross-functional partnerships/relationships
  • Ability to influence cross-functional leaders at multiple levels of the organization to drive cultural and process changes
  • Able to develop strategic plans for long term value improvement while also possessing ability to Drive for Results in short term
  • Proven track record in delivery commitments with measurable impact to key business metrics (growth, share, margin improvement) and growth mindset to drive ongoing improvements to product development processes and plans.
  • Ability to understand and integrate technical information into business decisions
  • Define technical development requirements and robust product validation plans
  • Broad knowledge of current ICB product portfolios and regional business footprint
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate accurately and concisely to all levels within the company

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Position is Full-Time, regular business hours, Monday-Friday
  • Office work environment: Remote work available once a week for eligible employees
  • Ability to lift 10 - 40 pounds
  • Travel up to 10%
