PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES: To provide care for patients before and after live kidney donation. Will coordinate the evaluation of potential live kidney donors, and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to determine ultimate suitability for donation. Will provide post-operative teaching and follow-up care of live kidney donors. Monday-Friday 8:30a-5p ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Bacheloras Degree preferred Evaluate potential live kidney donors Review and interpret diagnostic test results, adjusting the plan of care as appropriate Facilitate continuity of care across the continuum of services, making appropriate referrals when necessary Coordinate the pre-operative evaluation of potential live donors Provide post-operative teaching and follow-up care for live kidney donors nteract with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital Jefferson ancillary services, Gift of Life Donor Program, United Network Organ Sharing, physician offices Registered Nurse in PA required Bacheloras Degree preferred Registered nurse, American Board of Transplant Coordinators (ABTC) preferred CCTC certification preferred Minimum of three years experience with renal and/or transplant patients Strong communications and writing skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office computer applications Registered nurse, American Board of Transplant Coordinators (ABTC) preferred Minimum of three years experience with renal and/or transplant patients Strong communications and writing skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office computer applications Registered Nurse in PA required Bacheloras Degree preferred Registered nurse, American Board of Transplant Coordinators (ABTC) preferred CCTC certification preferred Minimum of three years experience with renal and/or transplant patients Strong communications and writing skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office computer applications Registered nurse, American Board of Transplant Coordinators (ABTC) preferred Minimum of three years experience with renal and/or transplant patients Strong communications and writing skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office computer applications
