Reports to Director of Rooms, position is non-exempt.

You are a gracious host with a passion for exceptional service. As Lobby Ambassador, you will not be hidden behind a desk-rather, you'll engage directly with guests, ensuring their experiences are extraordinary. You understand that every detail matters and you take pride in creating an inviting atmosphere where guests feel at ease and valued. Your role will be hybrid of different roles directly impacting guest services.
You have an excellent knowledge of both the hotel and the surrounding community, and you're ready to make each guest's visit memorable. You thrive in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with other departments to deliver seamless service.
THE ROLE
As a Lobby Ambassador, you will be responsible for:


  • Guest Experience: Greeting guests with a warm, welcoming demeanor and providing personalized service to ensure every guest feels like a VIP.
  • Hospitality Excellence: Offering local recommendations, arranging special requests, and helping with guest inquiries. You will actively enhance the guest experience by anticipating needs and turning ordinary moments into extraordinary memories.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with the housekeeping, engineering, and other hotel teams to maintain a seamless operation. You will also have the opportunity to assist the engineering and housekeeping teams as needed, contributing to the overall upkeep and smooth operation of the hotel.
  • Problem-Solving: Addressing guest concerns with empathy and efficiency to ensure their complete satisfaction.
  • Housekeeping Support: Assisting the housekeeping team by keeping the lobby and public areas in pristine condition, ensuring everything is in place for guests to feel comfortable and welcome.
  • Engineering Support: Assisting the engineers by completing basic engineering tasks like changing light bulbs in lamps, batteries in remote controls, etc.


WORK SCHEDULE

This position requires flexibility with the work schedule, with adjustments based on hotel needs and special events. Specific hours will be discussed during the interview process.
