Quality Lead - Non-Union Position
Massillon Plant

Plant Overview: The Kraft Heinz Massillon factory is engaged in the manufacture of frozen food products, most particularly, frozen dinner entrees, spinach dip, and kids' meal under the brand name of Smart Ones, Smart Made, Devour, Kraft, TGI Fridays and Crave. All items produced are frozen and under strict supervision of FDA, ODA, two (2) on-site federal USDA inspectors, and company quality inspectors. The Massillon, Ohio factory currently employs approximately 370 salaried, non-union hourly and union hourly employees. The Union hourly workers are represented by Local 880 of the United Food & Commercial Workers Union. The factory currently operates production lines on day and afternoon shifts. The midnight shift is dedicated to sanitation, maintenance and warehouse; disassembling, cleaning, completely sanitizing all production lines and equipment, and reassembling them in preparation for the next day's production operation. All products are micro-tested in the on-site Quality Assurance Laboratory. The products manufactured at the Massillon factory are distributed throughout the United States and Canada through retail and warehouse club outlets. Specific duties include: The Quality Lead will coordinate and assist in Quality and Sanitation activities within the facility, acting as a change agent, supporting, and promoting quality processes and implementation of new or improved quality programs within the plant. The position will serve as the primary point of contact for quality support to the production floor as well as other support functions. Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Quality Assurance: Ensures all products manufactured comply with the Quality Assurance Program and policies reviewed during the on the job training applicable to this specific operation function. Safety: Will follow instructions delivered during the training that explained the fundamentals of the Kraft Heinz Safety Process and will keep himself/herself and others away from harm while performing his/her duties. Will adhere to LOTO policy and procedures. Work on all shifts expected, Weekend and Holiday work will be required. Schedule is based on a 7 day / week production; therefore, workdays may fluctuate from week to week based on production.
