Job Summary The Student Services Analyst will be responsible for coordinating and administering aid programs within the Financial Aid department. This position will provide operational planning, program management and evaluation, problem resolution, and technical support to ensure efficient and effective delivery of student services. Applicants must be in good standing with all U.S. Department of Education Federal Student Aid programs and eligible to access federal websites required to perform job duties. Essential Functions 25% Coordinate, administer, and provide leadership and management to Financial Aid teams, overseeing activities, and supervising staff. 25% Serve as a subject matter expert responsible for exercising professional judgment on student applications, determining eligibility, and ensuring program compliance. 20% Track and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of financial aid programs in achieving college goals. Engage with internal and external stakeholders, communicate effectively, and prepare written and visual materials. 20% Design, develop, maintain, and deliver program resources, presentations, reports, correspondence, and promotional material. Verify the eligibility of scholarship applicants and ensure that awards are distributed according to program guidelines. Provide direct customer service to students, including escalated issues and problem-solving. 10% Conduct research on Title IV federal guidance and industry best practices to suggest and implement new strategies for the college. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs. OR Associates Degree from a regionally accredited institution and four years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs. OR High School Diploma and six years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs. Desired Qualifications 1. Three (3) or more years of recent experience (within the last 36 months) working in a financial aid office. 2. Three (3) or more years of recent experience (within the last 36 months) interpreting financial aid policies, practices, procedures, regulations, and guidelines. 3. Three (3) or more years' experience with direct customer service student contact. 4. Three (3) years of experience managing budgets, expense monitoring, and reconciliation. 5. Three (3) years of experience using technology and systems to manage student interactions and resolve issues. 6. Three (3) years of experience developing presentations or facilitating staff training. 7. Three (3) years of experience coordinating projects or activities. Special Working Conditions
