The Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator (IDHA) at Boston Children's Hospital is dedicated to investing in pediatric innovation.
The Sr. Strategy Associate role will support the Innovation team's efforts to identify opportunities for novel digital products, partnerships, and companies and assess their potential for enterprise impact, commercial viability, and long-term sustainability. This role will be responsible for tracking digital health market trends, supporting the discovery and scoping process for new products and partnerships, and developing deliverables related to strategic decision-making on innovation projects. The role will also participate in providing advisory and consulting services to internal innovators interested in commercializing novel digital products.

The Senior Strategy Associate, Innovation and Digital Health will be responsible to :

  • Lead significant portions of digital strategy development, providing business model assessment, internal and external data collection, and strategic options assessment.
  • Collect, validate, analyze, and synthesize primary and secondary research and data to contribute to the development of solutions to complex problems.
  • Prepare and deliver succinct, clear, insightful and influential executive-level presentations to support the strategic direction of various projects including market opportunity identification, ROI justification, volume forecasting, contracting, pricing and other strategic planning processes.
  • Develop approaches to solving strategic challenges to VP levels and beyond through data-driven insights and business context gathered from external and internal conversations.
  • Work with clinical and functional leaders across the enterprise to design, implement, and track key innovation projects that drive significant top-line and bottom-line growth, align with strong market opportunities, or have the potential for positive enterprise ROI.
  • Manage complex initiatives, digital strategy execution, and other cross-functional initiatives independently.
  • Interact and collaborate with various subject matter experts and stakeholders within and outside the hospital to build alignment on project strategy and support project success.
  • Leverage strong project management skillset to concurrently facilitate multiple innovation projects while driving towards completion.

To qualify you must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required in the field of Business, Life Sciences, Engineering or Healthcare Administration.
  • Master's Degree is preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in consulting, project management, health system operations, or other healthcare setting
  • Fluency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
