In this role, you will support and maintain the daily activities and projects for the Die Maintenance Department, ensuring the quality and safety of the company's manufacturing equipment. Pay: $21.53 - $29.67 per hour Shift: 2nd Shift (specific schedule details to be provided) Responsibilities: Support daily activities and projects for the Die Maintenance Department Follow safety, quality, and work procedures for chemicals and equipment Clean dies using dry ice and perform minor repairs (grinding, welding, spotting) Use overhead/gantry cranes to transport dies to/from presses and storage Track preventative maintenance logs and clean/lubricate die parts Exchange and properly store gas cylinders Complete overhead crane training and maintain certification Work overtime/weekends as needed and rotate jobs or shifts Maintain cleanliness of die maintenance storage cage and assist with production line calls Complete TPM and cross-training assignments as needed Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of a two-year degree in machining or tooling technology, or successful completion of an apprenticeship program (exceptions may be made for candidates under a controlled training program) Welding and grinding experience preferred Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to write simple correspondence Basic computer knowledge Why Join Us?
