Description

Position Summary & Responsibilities:

Reviews departmental documents for compliance, accuracy, and departmental labor efficiencies. Collaborates with technicians, engineering, and QEs to ensure successful implementation of both product and process changes. The position will require ad hoc and detailed programming tasks while maintaining the role of Excel consulting for the Instrument Manufacturing. This may include the development and creation of reports, spreadsheets, data sets, and other tools needed by the requester.

  • Enter timecard data into database.
  • Maintains the PM schedule as well the PM records for INS MFG, IRC, ENG, and QC.
  • Enters all training into Compliance Wire and Learning Portal systems and creates training curricula for new assemblies.
  • Generates monthly reports for instruments closed, labor, O.T., failure reports, efficiencies, and earned hours.
  • Places orders for equipment/tools and performs reconciliation of PCard and eproc orders.
  • Ability to define, review, check Bills of Materials, procedures, test procedures, and other related engineering documentation.
  • Performs any other job-related task as assigned by management.

Education, Skills, & Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2+ years of experience in database management.
  • Some experience with Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel and Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) for Excel..
  • Some experience in technical writing such as manufacturing procedures, Engineering Change Requests, Verifications and Validations, any other related documents.
  • Knowledge of FDA, QSR, and ISO quality systems.
  • Knowledge of Kaizen, 5S, auto quality, autonomous team concepts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Demonstrates good people skills.
