What you'll do

As a Lifecycle Marketing Manager, Strategy and Operations, you are a highly motivated self-starter who is responsible for developing data-driven marketing strategies to drive business growth. You are eager to learn, determined to adapt quickly, and comfortable with working in ambiguous situations. You'll dig deeper into the business performance data and develop compelling narratives for senior leadership on the contribution of lifecycle programs. You'll be responsible for the relationship with key data and analytics teams internally to ensure the prioritization of campaign data and measurement asks. You'll develop and present strong POVs on marketing strategy, channel efficacy, campaign processes, and audience segmentation and drive alignment among Marketing and Product teams. You'll be responsible for collaborating with lifecycle segment leads and analytics to understand the performance of lifecycle marketing campaigns and find opportunities for future programs.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Lifecycle Marketing Strategy and Operations.

Responsibility

  • Partner with Product, Analytics, and Marketing teams to align lifecycle strategies with broader business objectives
  • Develop and refine data-driven, customer-centric lifecycle marketing strategies to acquire, engage, nurture, retain, and win back customers
  • Lead the weekly and quarterly business performance review reporting and narrative for leadership, translating findings into actionable recommendations
  • Lead project management for key strategic launches including crafting overall program strategy in collaboration with segment leads, requirement gathering for campaign data attributes, and creation of campaign measurement plans
  • Design lifecycle audience segments in partnership with analytics and ensure tailored, relevant messaging is sent at each stage of the customer journey
  • Drive A/B testing and other optimization techniques, using data insights to refine strategies and enhance performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient handoffs, prioritization of content by audience cohorts, timely execution, and consistent customer experiences across channels
  • Work closely with analytics to define and monitor performance metrics for lifecycle marketing initiatives, focusing on metrics such as revenue, engagement, retention, LTV, and churn
  • Partner with Creative, Product, Customer Success, and Analytics teams to implement cohesive and impactful lifecycle campaigns

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, marketing operations, or CRM strategy, preferably in a SaaS, e-commerce, or subscription-based business
  • Experience developing and implementing data-driven lifecycle marketing strategies
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, Iterable) and CRM tools
  • Experience with analytics tools and methodologies (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, SQL) with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

Preferred

  • Exceptional project management skills with a focus on detail, process, and efficiency
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence partners at all levels of the organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an analytical, customer-focused approach
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics or related

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $101,500.00 - $156,750.00 base salary

Illinois and Colorado: $97,000.00 - $133,300.00 base salary

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $97,000.00 - $139,525.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus and benefits.
