Description

SUMMARY: The New England Patriots Cheer Department Supervisor will support the Cheerleading Manager in operating the cheer department and supervising various programs, initiatives, and administrative functions. This position will require extensive collaboration, execution, reporting and communication. As needed, the incumbent will also support the organization's grass-roots marketing efforts as part of the greater Brand & Fan Experience department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Supervise all cheer and mascot appearance requests from internal and external constituents to include staff scheduling, event logistics, customer and entertainer communication, invoicing, squad appearance tracking, and client follow up, as well as game day parking and ticketing as required.
  2. Coordinate and supervise departmental appearances and special events such as junior cheerleader co-appearances, photoshoots/video shoots, and sponsorship events.
  3. Assist Senior Manager with the accurate and timely processing of department payroll to include staff scheduling, travel times time off requests, punch change requests, and timecard approval reminders.
  4. Supervise the uniform inventory including ordering, receiving, sorting, sizing, distribution and return.
  5. Support the cheerleaders with game presentation accountabilities and logistics.
  6. In tandem with Fan Engagement Coordinator, help as needed with day-to-day content capture for the cheer and mascot social media accounts and website content.
  7. Assist with the planning and execution of special events including, but not limited to, prep classes, audition workshops, auditions and youth clinics.
  8. Maintain knowledge of NFL Cheerleading requirements and best practices.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients
  10. Special projects and assignments added as business dictates



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Supervise cheerleaders and mascots as required


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS




  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of related work experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Strong communication skills, oral and written
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Self-starter who is motivated and results oriented
  • Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
