Description

  • Monitoring daily plant production maintain the production database, track process abnormalities, and regularly analyze data to ensure optimal process performance.
  • Identify trends and deviations in production, and proactively suggest improvements based on data-driven recommendations. Provide timely and accurate reports on quality, productivity, and plant trial activities.
  • Plan, initiate, monitor, and report on plant trials for existing grade process or production improvements and new grade production.
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting polymerization and aftertreatment issues, ensuring minimal production downtime. Document solutions to enhance knowledge sharing and response efficiency. Provide technical support in areas of emulsion polymerization using advanced instrumentation such as FT-IR, DTA, DSC, TGA, GC, and UV spectroscopy.
  • Evaluate new and modified recipes, assess the quality of raw and sub-raw materials, and identify opportunities for improving productivity and cost reduction through lab work. Nights and weekend duties that cover technical support on all plant production activities
  • Prepare and manage technical documentation, including SOPs and reports, ensuring compliance with scientific standards. Submit monthly summaries highlighting plant trials, process deviations, and lab activities.
  • Remain current on pertinent areas through literature, technical journals and seminars while mentoring team members to enhance technical skills & foster growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing, R&D, Quality Control, Production, and other teams to align process specifications and ensure regulatory and operational compliance.

Qualifications
Education
Masters of Chemistry (preferred)
Bachelors of Polymer Science (preferred)
Bachelors of Chemistry (required)
Experience
1 - 2 years: Plant process experience preferred (preferred)
1 - 2 years: Emulsion polymerization experience in a manufacturing company (preferred)
2 - 5 years: Laboratory Experience (required)
