Job Description:

Location: We support US virtual working arrangements in the contiguous 48 states.

How you will contribute:

  • Develop complex data intake/ETL, applications, and ad-hoc queries as requested by internal and external customers using SQL, SSIS, Informatica, and .NET technologies. Requests include custom flat files, JSON and EDI

  • Maintain the production processes, resolving production issues and responding quickly to priority problems.

  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues.

  • Work closely with Business Systems Analysts to understand requirements regarding solutions, ensure data quality and match-back to core systems transaction results.

  • Collaborate on the definition, development, and maintenance of standards and processes.

  • Drive continuous improvement and automation.

  • Serve as mentoring resource for other developers.

  • Support company goals and objectives by working closely with management team to deliver value to the business.

  • Other duties as needed or required.

What you will bring with you:

  • BS degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 4 years as a Developer, Data Analyst, or equivalent implementing technical solutions (data intake, stored procedures and ETL packages).

  • Experience with SQL Server, Transact SQL and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), C#, XML, and Informatica.

  • Managed file transfer automation experience: FTP, SFTP, PGP.

  • Expert knowledge of relational database applications and data query protocols (SQL Server/ Structured Query Language).

  • Demonstrated ability to drive to deadlines, balancing multiple priorities, and ensuring quality standards.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills.

  • Desired experience with claims, accumulators, and providers.

  • Desired knowledge of dental or medical insurance claims processing.

  • Familiarity with appropriate handling of PHI data.

  • Required to attend additional training as requested/deemed necessary.

Salary Range: $98,400 - $147,600

Your actual base salary will be determined based on your unique skills, qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location. In addition to your base salary, this position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive award based on your individual performance as well as the overall performance of the business.
