The ideal candidate will reside near our corporate office in Columbus, Ohio but we are also open to candidates who reside near our office in Charleston, WV. The intern will work a hybrid schedule in one of our offices. This role will report to the Director, Customer Experience and Program Management.

This is a full-time summer internship for the 2025 summer and will require someone who can work at least 40 hours per week. Start and end dates will be based on availability and business need. Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least 60 credit hours with an accredited college or university.

Pay = $22 per hour

JOB OBJECTIVE:

The project manager intern will assist in planning, execution and successful delivery of business and technology projects that align with enterprise goals and strategy. The internship allows learning project processes from inception to implementation which follows our company policy and standards. The intern will aid our project management team to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the highest quality standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist with Project Coordination: Support senior project managers in planning, executing, and closing projects by helping track timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain project documentation, including project plans, timelines, risk assessments, and progress reports. Ensure that all documents are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure clear and consistent communication.
  • Monitor Project Progress: Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines. Assist in identifying and addressing potential risks or issues that could impact project success.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Help with data collection and analysis to assess project performance. Assist in creating project status reports for stakeholders.
  • Support Resource Management: Assist in coordinating resources across multiple projects and ensure that tasks are completed as scheduled.
  • Contribute to Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining project processes and workflows. Provide feedback on ways to enhance project management efficiency.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least 60 credit hours with an accredited college or university.
  • Preference may be given to those pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Project Management or Business Administration.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with groups.
  • Proven written, verbal, conceptual and visual communication skills.
