Job Title Senior Analyst, Account Analytics CPD Makeup

Division: Consumer Products Division

Location: Deerfield, Illinois or other HUB offices including LA or HYO

Reports To: Courtney Duffey, Account Director ULTA Team

What You Will Learn:

Leverage data & analytics to support account decision making and identify areas of opportunities or concerns.

Core Responsibilities

  • Understand how to utilize available data, platforms, (e.g., SiSa) and reporting dashboards.
  • Understand account strategy, brand visions, and category priorities to inform broader analyses to unlock customer success.
  • Analyze data and surface recommendations around consumer trends, product sales performance, online vs. offline performance, etc. to inform sales strategies.
  • Support customer conversation (e.g., GTM planning, quarterly retailer top to tops) with data-driven insights

Key Meetings

  • Line reviews - supports line review prep and execution.
  • Bi-annual account reviews - supports review preparation.
  • Field forecast refreshes - supports monthly forecast refresh.

Receives Input From

  • Account management - key customer focus areas / concerns to ensure sales analytics team has appropriate customer context.
  • Central data - supports data and dashboard requests to enable prioritized account analyses.

Provides Input To

  • Account management - account analytics share key insights and opportunities to support broader decision-making.
  • Central data - Account analytics partners closely with central data to identify key KPIs to track and requirements for reporting dashboards.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years in a strategy or analytics-focused role, working on projects that have enabled building strong quantitative skills and business judgment
  • Track record of delivering business results by driving insights, building and executing sound, data driven strategies
  • Strong understanding of the Digital Media and Beauty Industry
  • Communicates clearly and succinctly in both oral and written forms
  • Skilled at executing within tight timeframes with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Highly organized with proven multi-tasking ability
  • High proficiency in Excel and data analysis
  • Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint programs and the ability to create high impact presentations
  • Proactive and results oriented thinker who would flourish in an entrepreneurial environment where new ideas are championed
