Description

Role: This position continues the development our digital products. In this role you will identify opportunities to improve and enhance digital solutions. This person must have a member-first mindset, strong understanding of back-end and front-end programming languages, and an ability to develop and understand data that can be used to track, analyze, and improve our digital products. The role requires a candidate who has excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to work with cross departmental teams. This is a member-centric role, working to translate the needs of users into digital product opportunities.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recommend improvements based upon product testing, member feedback, analytical conclusions and understanding of the business.
  • Play a key role in technical product management principles ensuring that quality, and accessibility are maintained to drive business intelligence and operational efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Advise on product design, development, and enhancements
  • Gather member and business insights, translating into opportunities that deliver value.
  • Work with cross-functional partners to ensure that member satisfaction, goals and other outcomes are defined, validated, and met in alignment with the overall strategy.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of assigned products as well as the management of related projects.
  • Research, evaluate, recommend and manage implementation of digital banking products and services to create seamless and intuitive digital banking experiences that meet member needs and expectations.
  • Propose market opportunities for new services and define concepts for those opportunities with a member-centric focus.
  • Build business value by staying up to date on emerging technologies, fintech trends, and data management advancements to drive continuous improvement and innovation in digital banking and products.
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance to facilitate continuous iteration and improvement
  • Conduct user research and usability, collaborating with business stakeholders, developers, and research teams throughout the process
  • Manages vendor relationships including ongoing communication, incident escalation and resolution regarding SLA guidelines.
  • Demonstrate high-performance behaviors of teamwork, leading by example, and service in every facet of work.

Other Duties

  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control
  • Exhibit Blaze's 5A culture - Ambassador, Achievement, Ambition, Ability and Attitude
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support effective department operation

Requirements

Experience/Education/Certifications/Licenses

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in digital delivery, online, mobile or digital channels, focused on user experience (UX) preferably in the financial industry
  • College degree in business, MIS or related preferred

Demonstrated Knowledge

  • Passion for building great digital products and experiences
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, and organization skills
  • Experience in usability and member-focused design
  • Microsoft Office

Communication Skills

Ability to develop and implement responses to members/staff to document and develop new and ongoing techniques to improve processes; written communications draw from expert information from the field whether as an individual contributor or manager

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit and stand; answer calls; operate computer; interact with internal staff and public on the phone; travel to designated offices; lift up to 20 lbs

We are committed to providing salary ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations.

The salary range for this position is: $89,150.23 - $133,725.34. This range reflects the base salary for this position. We have other benefits associated with this position which include: low-cost medical (as low as $20 a paycheck), dental insurance, vision insurance, quarterly bonuses, generous vacation and sick time hours, paid leave options, up to 6% 401k contribution, and tuition reimbursement.
