Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products, is seeking an experienced candidate to fill the position of Shift Supervisor in the Bloomington, Indiana facility. Qualified candidates must be able to work night shift hours.

Reporting to the Finishing Department Manager, the Finishing Supervisor in Bloomington, IN will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of his/her shift ensuring that production targets and deadlines are achieved and that key performance indicators are met while maintaining compliance with Printpack's safety, quality, and productivity objectives. Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee production to maximize plant efficiencies

  • Ensure that quality standards are being maintained in regard to product and customer service

  • Support quality and process improvement by providing sound management practices, coaching, counseling, and regular performance feedback

  • Ensure that associates perform their jobs consistent with applicable environmental and safety regulations within acceptable standards, and in compliance with published rules of conduct

  • Complete accurate and timely production reporting to provide good performance information

  • Facilitate continuous improvement teams and projects, promoting an engaged associate environment

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years production experience needed

  • Proven ability to effectively manage people and responsibilities

  • Strong computer skills needed

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills needed

  • Strong technical skills in flexible packaging desired

  • Must be able to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check

Internal Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for open positions:
  • No more than a Verbal disciplinary action within past 120 days

  • Last performance review rating must be 'Performer' or higher

  • Must be in current role for at least six months
