Overview

Modjeski and Masters, Inc is looking for a Regional Director with Ohio Department of Transportation experience.

As an Ohio Regional Director, you'll be responsible for pursuing and securing work to expand Modjeski and Masters' footprint into Ohio. You'll have opportunities to interact directly with clients and participate in marketing efforts to benefit both the Ohio Regional Business Unit and the Company. In addition, you will actively engage in the management and delivery of projects within Ohio, build and develop a team of engineers for the Ohio Regional Business Unit, and effectively manage the Ohio Regional Business Unit. The Ohio Regional Business Unit Director will report directly to the President or Assigned Officer.

Qualifications

Qualifications:



  • Meet Level 2 Bridge Design per the requirement of the Ohio Department of Transportation
  • Registered Professional Engineer (Ohio)
  • 15 years of bridge design experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

    • Masters Preferred


  • Strong operational and project management skills
  • Strong relationships with regional bridge/highway owners, engineers, and contractors
  • Strong knowledge and experience with traditional and alternative project delivery methods
  • Solid understanding of the project development and marketing process
  • Capable of developing responsible labor estimates
  • Ability to interact and coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines as well as clients or subconsultants
  • Comprehensive technical engineering knowledge, including knowledge of all applicable codes, specifications and current research initiatives

  • Effectively manage and communicate the Ohio Regional Business Unit's Operations
  • Secure ample work and establish staff for the Ohio Regional Business Unit
  • Engage in the pursuit of projects for the Ohio Regional Business Unit
  • Actively participate in marketing efforts to benefit both the Ohio Regional Business Unit and Company
  • Actively engage in the management and delivery of projects within the Ohio Regional Business Unit
  • Actively engage in the professional development of staff
