Join the HJF Team! HJF is seeking a Licensed Clinical Counselor who will be responsible for clinical assessments and treatment with particular interest in assisting those with chronic pain and coordinates the hereditary cancer genetic counseling process. This position will be in support of Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences' Department of Family Medicine, which is based in Bethesda, MD. The project, COMBAT PAIN, is an innovative clinical trial aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of combined acupuncture and CBT in the effort of improving the management of pain and patient outcomes in primary care settings. The Licensed Clinical Counselor will assist with activities related to the project's mission, The Licensed Military Behavioral Health Provider will provide Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain (CBT-CP) to military patients and dependents. They will need to collaborate with medical professionals to help integrate behavioral therapy with acupuncture, in primary care settings, and support local PI and research staff/team. The individual will also contribute to overall study documentation, treatment outcomes and participating in research activities. This is a full-time position funded through December 2025, with the possibility of annual renewal for up to four years, contingent upon performance and continued funding The Henry M.
