Customer Service Manager

Printpack is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Customer Service Manager in Villa Rica, GA. This position will report to the Director, Customer Service and Planning.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.

  • 3 - 5 years of CDA experience and/or management experience.

  • At least 3 years in the packaging (or packaging-related) industry, preferred.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Recruit, select, train, motivate, and lead a team of Customer Demand Analysts in accordance with the Company's overall HRD strategy.

  • Manage customer expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Act as a liaison between customer service and other key departments (Sales, Operations, Material Management and Plant associates) for improved customer collaboration.

  • Provide reports and analytics to upper-level management and make recommendations on day-to-day operations.

  • Lead a customer service team and foster positive relationships with customers, sales, and plant associates.

  • Set goals and lead the team to achieving such goals.

  • Conduct data integrity checks and balances to support the business.

The position also requires strong skills in the following areas:
  • Planning, implementing, and directing company-wide customer service initiatives.

  • Strong Interpersonal skills and communication with other key departments of Printpack and external customers.

  • Ability to transfer skills to other associates through training and mentoring.

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), OBIEE, and PRISM knowledge is a plus.

  • Ability to work well under pressure, possesses a sense of urgency, and handles multiple priorities.

  • Self-direction/ability to independently make sound decisions.

  • Knowledge of Printpack production planning systems, processes, and procedures.

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Take ownership of customer service issues and follow through to resolutions.

  • Will require extended work hours during peak times to support business needs
