We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team. As a collaborative team player, you will work with the involved teams and adhere to the direction of the QA Manager. You will evaluate software functions and design test protocols to ensure the applications perform as intended.

To ensure success as a software test engineer, you should have excellent communication skills (written & verbal), advanced knowledge of automation test design (TDD, BDD supported cucumber frameworks) and engineering, a good eye for detail, and a natural gift for software troubleshooting. A skilled quality assurance engineer should be able to identify the slightest flaw in software designs and suggest simple yet effective fixes.

The ideal candidate must be a coachable self-starter, a results-oriented individual with firm technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a team player with strong partnership skills. As our Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll support HID's successby:




  • Scheduling and performing manual and automation testing, overnight smoke testing, integration, regression, mobile, post-release, load, performance, security and UAT
  • Participating in software design discussion, reviews, and introduce test strategy sessions
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks - from conception to the implementation of CI/CD practices
  • Executing system and regression tests and participates in code reviews
  • Responsible for performing risk and impact analysis and making recommendations
  • Driving priority by collaborating with the SCRUM team, and Product teams to evolve and refine the automation testing coverage
  • Working closely with developers to verify problems in applications
  • Ensuring that validated deliverables meet functional, design specifications and requirements
  • Creating test data and maintain regression test suites while developing test plans, test procedures
  • Identifies potential process improvement areas, suggests options, and recommends approaches
  • Representing the management and at times lead technical meetings, as needed
  • Working closely with development teams on STLC, understanding tickets, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Working in direct Collaboration with the Business and product teams to understand requirements develop test plans and cases, and verify test results



What we will love about your background:




  • Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies and time management skills
  • 5+ years' experience in a software testing role with the ability to build automation framework from scratch, execute various tests, investigate and troubleshoot complex technical problems
  • 3+ years supporting business systems in close collaboration
  • Must have a strong focus and attention to detail
  • Experienced in automating complex Web, Mobile, API, DB, and U/I applications
  • Experience in creating and analyzing performance tests for web-based software and APIs
  • Knowledge of Java, C#, and experience with maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid Understanding of SDLC and Agile Methodology, continuous Collaboration, and improvement
  • Proficient in Postman, Opensource tools, Rest Assured Library, JIRA, Confluence and other tools which include but are not limited to U/I, Selenium, Jenkins, API, SQL, JUnit, Mobile testing, Appium; iOS, Android Studio, git, GitLab, OOP, POM, Docker, CI/CD, Cucumber, LoadRunner, JDBC, Visual Studio, JMeter, and Soap



YourExperienceand Education include:




  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field. Candidates with equivalent education plus relevant work experience may also be considered
  • Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
  • Programming languages outside of Java and C# will be considered
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, Mac, Linux, etc.
