Koch Equity Development ("KED") is seeking a Summer 2026 Investment Analyst Intern. KED interns benefit from direct mentorship from full-time analysts and associates, while gaining real-world experience working on active deals. As an Intern, you will be responsible for assisting in the underwriting, financial modeling, and due diligence for potential investments.

What You Will Do

  • Assisting in the underwriting, financial modeling, and due diligence for equity investments and acquisitions
  • Preparing presentations on potential transactions and investments for senior management that identify and assess valuation, return profile, competitive advantage, risks, etc.
  • Performing industry research and competitive analysis related to potential investments
  • Working with KED portfolio companies to enhance profitability alongside KED's commercial excellence capability
  • Participating in discussions with senior members of the KED team
  • Assuming responsibility for 100% compliance with the laws, regulations, company policy, and industry standards applicable to this role

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Eligible for full-time employment no later than Summer 2027
  • Enrolled in a degree or certificate program related to Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Risk Management, Investments, or a related business field
  • Able to work in the US without sponsorship

Hiring Process Timeline

  • November 4th, 2024 - Application opens
  • January 31st, 2025 - Application closes
  • February 8th, 2025 - Communication sent to candidate if selected for a first-round interview. Communication will also be sent if not selected to interview.
