SCOPE OF WORK:

The Quality Assurance Intern will assist the Deputy Director of Programs in coordination with the Program Managers at the Tucson and Phoenix office of the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in maintaining compliance with grant requirements and organizational policies. This internship supports data tracking and program improvement initiatives within a nonprofit, providing hands-on experience in quality assurance while maintaining data accuracy and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Data Management: Assist in maintaining accurate records for grant compliance and assist in updating compliance-related documentation.

  • Quality Assurance Support: Assist in implementing quality assurance systems and tools and assist in preparing for audits and compliance reviews.

  • Client Feedback: Assist in collecting and summarizing client feedback to enhance service quality through grievances and identify areas of improvement

  • Administrative Support: Assist with filing client documentation and identifying gaps in services using internal tracking tools

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Excel, data entry and other record keeping experience.

  • Interested in nonprofit management and quality assurance.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.

  • Database administration skills preferred but not necessary.

  • Prior experience and interest working with refugees and immigrants or knowledge in quality assurance preferred but not necessary.
